An Old Florida Christmas

Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11am to 4pm

Celebrate old-fashioned holiday traditions with our beautifully decorated buildings, live music, make-and-take crafts, vintage silent films, food vendors, and more.

Shop local and support our community's artists. Local heritage craft vendors will be selling handmade items like soaps, aprons and wreaths.

This is a ticketed event. Tickets cost $5 for adults. Children under 12 are free.

Calling Craft Vendors

Manatee Village Historical Park is seeking vendors that sell items like:

  • Handmade artwork and crafts
  • Heritage crafts
  • Handmade consumables (must follow cottage industry laws)
  • Vintage or handmade clothing, accessories, & jewelry
  • Items reflecting Florida’s pioneer heritage
  • Books about Florida or written by authors residing in Florida

Participation is free. Vendors are assigned a 10’x10’ space, and are asked to provide their own tables, chairs, tents, signs, etc.

Vendors must be selling items as an independent small business that is not connected to a larger national chain or corporation. Therefore, we do not accept companies like Lula Roe, Origami Owl, Paparazzi, or the Candle Lab.

Download an application to become a vendor and submit it to us by November 2: New Vendor Application An Old Florida Christmas 2018.pdf

Calling School Ensembles

Every year, students from schools around the county perform in the 1887 Church during an Old Florida Christmas.

If you are an ensemble director at a local school, download an application to perform at this event here: School Band Entertainment Agreement.pdf
