Field Trips

Springtime is field trip season! If you or someone you know is a local teacher, consider Manatee Village Historical Park for your next field trip.

Lectures

One Saturday per month, we offer a new installment in our lecture series. Lectures are written and presented by one of our staff members. These are free to the public, and on a first come first serve basis. 

Activity Books

For children looking for a more hands on approach to learning, we offer two Activity Books, designed for youth all ages. The options are:

Cow Hunter Activity Book

Scavenger Hunt

To help guide children and parents through our museum, we offer a picture based scavenger hunt for youth all ages! When you finish, stop by Wiggins to claim your prize!

Gather History Clues with Museum Artifacts

Our Gather History Clues with Museum Artifacts is intended for children ages 8+, and teaches children how to analyze historical documents!

Manatee Village Historical Park is part of the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller Historical Resources Department. This program is offered in conjunction with the Manatee County Historical Commission, Inc.

 

ABOUT THE CLERK’S OFFICE

The Clerk of the Circuit Court was established as a public trustee by the Florida Constitution in 1838. The Clerk of the Circuit Court serves as the Clerk of Courts, the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, Auditor, Recorder, and Custodian of all County Funds. In Manatee County, the Clerk’s office also administers a child support enforcement program, violence protection advocacy program and Teen Court programs. Located at 1115 Manatee Avenue West in Downtown Bradenton, the Courthouse is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Please be sure to visit our web site at www.manateeclerk.com.
